Straight answers
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You record what happened — you sold something, you were paid, stock came in — and the accounting follows. The double-entry side is there and correct whether you ever look at it or not.
Can I bring what I already have?
Yes. Upload products, customers, and suppliers from a spreadsheet, and export them back the same way whenever you want. The records stay yours.
What happens when the internet drops?
You keep working. Entries sit on your device and go up, in order, once you are back. You can see what is still queued at any moment.
Is the online shop separate from the books?
No, and that is the whole point. An order from your shop is the same record as an invoice written at the counter. Same stock movement, same posting, same customer balance.
